JORDAN | PHOTOS AND TEXT BY DAVID FABREGA | 2011

In the North of Amman, the capital of Jordan, stands the environmental education center of Badia, a veterinary teaching clinic created in 2000 by the cooperative Al Khair, which includes 170 Bedouins. For both the wild animal and the local villages, the rescue center and research on wildlife and ecosystems of the eastern desert of Jordan has played a major role in the protection of habitats and species of this region.
